How to use

Pin Brush, for everyday brushing. Use gentle, short strokes through a damp or dry coat to keep tangles from settling in.

Slicker Brush, after a bath once the coat is dry. Use light passes to lift, separate, and fluff the coat for a finished look.

Rake Brush, for the undercoat and for mats that have already softened. Hold the hair at the base and work slowly in short outside-in strokes, starting at the ends and moving inward.

Handling the Rake

The teeth are serrated. That is what lets them work through a mat instead of skating over it, and it also means they are sharp to the touch. When hair packs into the comb, clear it with a cloth or the edge of another brush rather than your fingertips. Adult use only, and keep it somewhere the kids cannot reach it. Cream first, then the Rake. Never on a dry mat.
